Registered Nurse – Medical/Surgical

DEPARTMENT: MEDICAL SURGICAL UNIT   

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center a member of the Medisys Health Network is a 404 bed fully accredited community based teaching hospital and level I Trauma and Stroke Center.  We provide general medical, pediatric, and psychiatric emergency services, ambulatory care on and off campus, ambulatory surgery and a broad spectrum of diagnostic and treatment services. We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses’s  for immediate full flex  shiift day and night opportunities in our Medical Surgical Unit. 

DUTIES

As a Medical Surgical RN, you will provide care and treatment to ill, injured, and recovering adult patients.

• Assessing patient conditions.
• Administering medications.
• Changing dressings.
• Monitoring patient vital signs.
• Charting and keeping records.
• Providing  patients with support and education
