We are seeking an experienced and motivated CT Supervisor to provide leadership and operational oversight for our Computed Tomography service. Position Summary

The CT Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the CT Department, ensuring efficient workflow, regulatory compliance, excellent patient care, and staff development. The successful candidate will provide leadership, guidance, and support to technologists while fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and operational oversight to ensure smooth and coordinated daily department operations.
  • Manage workflow and resources to maximize efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.
  • Lead initiatives to improve CT departmental processes and performance.
  • Support the professional growth and development of team members through education, training, mentorship, and coaching.
  • Deliver an exceptional experience for patients, families, physicians, and staff.
  • Coordinate staffing schedules for CT services, including Main Radiology, Emergency Department, and future CT locations.
  • Conduct employee performance evaluations and communicate performance expectations.
  • Coordinate equipment maintenance, preventative maintenance schedules, and physicist inspections for all CT equipment.
  • Ensure compliance with ACR accreditation standards and applicable regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in Radiation Protection Committee activities and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Monitor departmental quality, safety, and operational performance metrics.
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels and provide hands-on coverage when necessary.
  • Collaborate with Radiology leadership to achieve departmental and organizational goals.

Requirements
  • Current New York State Radiologic Technologist License.
  • ARRT Certification required.
  • ARRT Certification in Computed Tomography (CT) required.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of CT experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Radiologic Technology, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous supervisory, lead technologist, or management experience.
  • Experience with ACR accreditation standards, regulatory compliance, and quality assurance initiatives.
