Every hospital admission starts with an Admitting Representative.

We’re seeking individuals who understand the importance of accuracy, professionalism, and customer service when collecting patient information and facilitating the admission process.

What You’ll Do

  • Verify patient demographic, insurance, and financial information.
  • Register patients for hospital admissions and ambulatory surgery services.
  • Enter and maintain patient information within Epic.
  • Process admissions, discharges, transfers, and related patient transactions.
  • Obtain required signatures and complete registration documentation.
  • Manage Epic work queues and reports.
  • Support bed management, financial screening, and patient access operations.
  • Communicate professionally with patients, families, and hospital staff.

Requirements

What We’re Looking For
Required

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Strong customer service skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute.Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

Preferred

  • Hospital admitting, registration, patient access, or healthcare administrative experience.
  • Experience using Epic or another healthcare EMR.
  • College degree.
  • Bilingual Spanish/English.
