Ambulatory Care Representative

Jamaica Hosptial Medical Center seeks several Ambulatory Care Representatives with strong patient / customer service experience for immediate full time and  part time positions in our ER Registration Department.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• As an Ambulatory Care Representative you’ll be the first point of contact for patients seeking l care in our facility. 
• Specific duties will include:
  Expediting patient registration check-in and check-out process
• Greeting and screening patients.  
• Utilizing EPIC electronic appointment system to schedule and review appointments, insurance and appointment history.
• Collecting payments and dispersing carfare and serves as the clinic liaison.
• Answering phones and addressing patient/caller inquiries
