Jamaica Hospital Medical Center a member of the Medisys Health Network is a 404 bed fully accredited community based teaching hospital and Level I Trauma and Stroke Center. We provide general medical, pediatric, and psychiatric emergency services, ambulatory care on and off campus, ambulatory surgery and a board spectrum of diagnostic and treatment services.

  • Responsible for the staffing applications of the Automated Nurse Staffing Office System (ANSOS), payroll processing and related clerical duties in the Nursing Office.
  • Scheduling and preparing staff schedules for all Nursing units.
  • Performing data management, data entry and communications between Nursing units, Payroll, Quality Management and outside agencies.
  • Monitoring and assuring timely notification of staff of pending renewal dates for license, certification and other credentials.
  • Procuring and assigning Contingent/Temp staff and Outside personnel to patient care units.
  • Coordinating payroll functions to ensure accuracy and timely compensation to employees
  • Utilizing KRONOS system to input, update and retrieve information and reports.

 

Requirements
  •   High School Diploma or equivalent, required. Associates Degree, preferred.
  • · Minimum of three (3) years computer-related or data entry experience, required.
  • · Experience and familiarity with the KRONOS System, preferred.
  • · Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications; Advance training preferred.
  • · Knowledge of payroll and staffing applications preferred
  • · MUST BE AVAILABLE TO WORK ALTERNATE WEEKENDS
