CT Scan Technologist – Full-Time/Part-Time | Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Queens, NY
Shift: Variable – Full-Time, Part-Time, Evening, Night
Hours: 37.5 hrs./week
Salary: $54.22–$60.02 per hour (+ differentials for evenings/contrast dye)

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, a 384-bed, fully accredited community teaching hospital and Level I Trauma & Comprehensive Stroke Center, is seeking experienced CT Scan Technologists to join our state-of-the-art Radiology Department. Work with advanced CT imaging technology in a supportive, collaborative environment serving a diverse Queens community.

Your Role:

  • Operate and maintain CT scanners; ensure calibration and high-quality imaging
  • Prepare and position patients, administer contrast dye (certification required)
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare staff to deliver optimal patient care
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow radiation safety protocols

Requirements
  • Graduate of accredited Radiologic Technology program
  • NYS Radiologic Technology license
  • ARRT certification in CT
  • Contrast dye injection certification required
  • Experience in CT imaging preferred; EMR (EPIC) a plus
  • Strong patient care, detail orientation, and ability to work in fast-paced settings
