We are currently seeking experienced Accounting Clerks for our billing department. The billing office provides the healthcare team with comprehensive billing and follow up support on patient services.

WORK SCHEDULE: DAYS – 8:30AM – 5:00PM/Full-time

Qualifications:

Experience processing Facility, Ancillary, ER, and Clinics claims (1 to 2 years)
Experience with facility reimbursement methodologies (i.e. Diagnosis Related Groups, DRG, Ambulatory Payment Classification, APC; or Ambulatory Patient Group, APG, etc.).
Understanding of payment and billing principles for inpatient and outpatient services
Proficiency in medical terminology, medical coding (CPT4, ICD10, and HCPCS), provider contract concepts and common claims processing/resolution practices.
Experience with MS Excel functions that include creating standardized reports, utilizing pivot tables, filtering, and formulas to generate desired results.
