Financial Investigator – ED Registration

We are currently seeking an Experienced Financial Investigator for our Emergency Registration Department.. 

DUTIES:

Selected candidate will be responsible for interviewing patients for Medicaid, pre-authorization admissions and 3rd party eligibility benefits.  Verifying and updating insurance information.  Contacting insurance company to determine eligibility.  Visiting hospital patients to conduct Medicaid / Financial Aid assessments. Completing Medicaid and Financial Aid applications.  Collecting and scanning required documents into hospital system. Entering approvals, code 4/deferrals and denials into AIM and document EPIC.  Performing other general office duties including filing, faxing, answering phones and Xeroxing.
