The role of the Assistant Director of Professional Development and Organizational Learning is to develop, plan, organize, and implement the departmental mission and goals in providing multi-disciplinary educational support to the organization.

Responsibilities will include:
• Coordinate educational programs based on learning needs assessment, stakeholder input, data trends and organization goals.
• Oversee educational programs to ensure compliance with required standards e.g. Emergency Cardiac Care (ECC), Academic Affiliations, Continuing Nursing Education (CNE) etc.
• Promote the just and safety culture, applying a continuous learning approach through education, policy, and system development.
• Provide oversight of initial, annual and ongoing competency programs for the nursing department.

Requirements
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) required, Master Degree preferred. • Current NYS licensure is required. • Certification as a Nurse Educator or Organizational Learning preferred. • Minimum of 3 years Managerial experience in education and organizational learning theories, models & methodologies.
