PSYCHOTHERAPISTS

CENTER OF EXCELLENCE (COE) GRANT PROGRAM

Location: Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Queens, NY
Salary: $41.78 – $55.76/hr. DOE
Type: Full-Time

Overview:
Jamaica Hospital’s Center of Excellence Grant Program is seeking a Psychotherapists to provide specialized mental health care to patients experiencing trauma, substance use, and other complex behavioral health challenges. This role involves delivering evidence-based treatment and contributing to programs designed to improve patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide individual and group psychotherapy using trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based approaches.
  • Conduct assessments and develop personalized treatment plans.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, nurses, and other professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
  • Maintain accurate clinical documentation in compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in program evaluation and quality improvement initiatives.

Requirements

Must Have:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work with a valid NYS LMSW license – must have.
  • Clinical experience in psychotherapy, ideally with trauma, substance use, or community mental health populations.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
