Job Type: Full-Time (Evening Shift  3p – 11:30p)
Salary: $26.48/hr.

We are seeking experienced Patient Care Associates (PCA) to join our Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit. This is an excellent opportunity for compassionate professionals committed to enhancing patient care.

Job Summary:

As a Patient Care Associate (PCA), you will assist patients with daily living activities under the supervision of registered nurses. Your role will be essential in ensuring patient comfort, safety, and well-being throughout their hospital stay.

Responsibilities:

✅ Patient Care & Assistance:

  • Help patients with personal hygiene, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
  • Assist with mobility, transfers, and repositioning.
  • Serve meals, assist with feeding, and monitor dietary intake.
  • Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiration).
  • Perform phlebotomy and 12-lead EKG testing.
  • Collect specimens and assist with medical procedures.
  • Observe patients for changes in condition and report to the nursing staff.
  • Document patient care and interactions accurately.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe patient environment.
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including charting and filing.
  • Escort patients to tests and procedures as needed.

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Certified Patient Care Assistant certification
  • BLS certification (American Heart Association)
  • Experience performing phlebotomy and 12-lead EKG testing
  • Basic computer skills

  • Prior experience in healthcare or patient care.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under nurse supervision
  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach
