PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT- EMERGENCY MEDICINE

Our hospital facility and associated outpatient clinic sites provide many medical and clinical services to an underserved community. Our Emergency Department includes a Level 1 Trauma Center and is equipped with technology that rivals the nation’s most prestigious healthcare systems.

We have a great opportunity for a Physician Assistant – Emergency Medicine for our Level I Trauma Center.

DUTIES:

As a member of our multi-specialty team , selected Physician Assistants will serve as a principal healthcare providers. Typical duties will include:

• Taking initial patient histories and performing physical examinations.
• Evaluating, diagnosing, developing and managing treatment plans
• Ordering and interpreting lab tests
• Counseling patients
• Performing various medical procedures and assisting in surgical operations
• Conferring with attending physicians, residents and other care providers to ensure optimum quality of patient care.
