DEPARTMENT – SECURITY OFFICE

Since 1975, Trump Pavilion for Nursing and Rehabilitation a 228-bed state-of-the-art facility has provided Queens’s residents a comfortable environment, with access to numerous luxurious services and amenities. We offer comprehensive services for short-term care, including rehabilitative, medical, and social services. We are currently seeking an experienced Security Supervisor for an immediate per diem day shift assignment. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maintaining daily oversight and supervision of Nursing home Security and hospitality personnel.
  • Conducting routine facility team patrols
  • Providing in-service training, technical assistance, and support to facilitate compliance with nursing home security policies and procedures
  • Preparing and scheduling security incident reports
  • Coordinating and scheduling security shift assignments.
  • Developing and implementing safety plans for buildings, residents, and staff.
  • Operating electronic video surveillance, Roam Alert, Detex, and CCTV equipment to monitor facility premises.
  • Maintaining and reconciling department monthly invoices and inventory supplies.
Requirements
  • Must have High School or equivalent diploma. Some college preferred
  • New York State Security License
  • Must have NYC Fire Dept. Certifications for Supervision of Fire Alarm Systems and Citywide Fire Guard for Impairment
  • Extensive knowledge of security protocol and procedures.
  • Excellent management and supervisory skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Must be able to be on-call 24/7
  • Ability to provide training on security policies and procedures.
  • Ability to work with confidential and classified information.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
