Responsible for the daily Operations of the Transportation Coordination Center.Create Daily work schedule for drivers. Monitor drivers and make adjustments to schedule when needed.
Coordinate communications during disasters following hospital disaster policy and procedures.
Receive emergent and non-emergent requests for patient movement from Jamaica Hospital Medical Center sites.Receive routine and urgent requests for departments serviced by Motor Transportation.
Coordinate radio, cellular, paging and communications between all drivers and different departments.Coordinates transportation needs of staff using outside vendors.Maintains daily logs and registers.Maintain computer records.
Input call data into computer.Completes additional assignments as directed by supervisory staff.
Forwards paperwork/logs in an expeditious manner.
Review, collate and forward ambulance call report in a timely manner.Ability to drive company vehicles whenever necessary.
