Shift: Full-Time – Evening Shift

Position Overview
Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented CAT Scan Technologist to join our Evening Shift team. The CT Technologist performs high-quality computed tomography imaging procedures while ensuring patient safety, comfort, and adherence to imaging protocols.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform CT (CAT Scan) imaging procedures in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging exams
  • Ensure proper radiation safety practices are followed at all times
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
  • Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team members to ensure diagnostic accuracy
  • Maintain equipment and report technical issues as needed
  • Provide excellent patient care and communication throughout procedures

Requirements
  • ARRT (R) certification required
  • ARRT (CT) certification preferred or in progress
  • State licensure (as applicable)
  • Strong knowledge of CT imaging procedures and patient safety standards
