Radiologic Technologist – X-Ray 
Part-Time | Night Shift

Join a high-volume, patient-centered Radiology Department where your imaging expertise directly supports accurate diagnosis and quality care every day.

At Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist (X-Ray Tech) to perform diagnostic imaging procedures in a fast-paced acute care hospital setting.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform diagnostic X-ray examinations following physician orders
  • Position patients and adjust imaging equipment for optimal image quality
  • Ensure radiation safety standards for patients, staff, and self
  • Maintain accurate documentation and imaging records
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and imaging team members
  • Support efficient patient flow in a busy hospital environment

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program (Required)
  • ARRT (R) Certification (Required)
  • New York State Radiologic Technologist License (Required)
  • 1+ year of acute care hospital or diagnostic imaging experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic positioning and safety protocols
  • Excellent communication and patient care skills

Schedule & Compensation:

  • Part-time | Night Shift
  • $48.14/hr – $54.22/hr (DOE)
  • Additional differential opportunities may apply
