Machine/ Waxer/Porter: Enviromental Services

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, a 404-bed teaching hospital and Level I Trauma & Stroke Center, is seeking Machine Waxer / Porters to join our Environmental Services team. We have immediate full-time and part-time opportunities available!

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and clean carpet and hard surface floors.
• Operate commercial stripping, scrubbing, and buffing machines to wax, refinish, seal, and spot-clean floors.
• Disinfect and clean floors, walls, furniture, and fixtures.
• Properly store and maintain cleaning equipment in an organized manner.
• Handle spills, remove trash, and ensure safety and cleanliness in all areas.
• Follow Infection Control procedures for handling medical waste and biohazards.
• Perform various general custodial duties as needed.

Salary: $25.61/hr. | 🏥 Jamaica Hospital Medical Center | Full-Time & Part-Time
Shifts  Available: Days | Evenings | Nights

* Must be available every weekend (Sat/Sun) & holidays
