Join Our Food Services Team at Jamaica Hospital
Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, a 384-bed fully accredited community-based teaching hospital and a Level I Trauma and Stroke Center, is seeking part-time Dietary Aides to support our patient-centered food services team. This role is ideal for individuals who want to contribute to patient wellness through quality nutrition and meal service.

Key Responsibilities
Under the supervision of the Area Leader, Dietary Aides will:

  • Assist in food preparation and basic food production tasks
  • Work on the tray line and ensure accurate meal assembly for patients and residents
  • Deliver and pick up trays throughout the hospital
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dish room
  • Follow all dietary and safety protocols

Requirements
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred
  • Prior food service experience is a plus
  • Ability to follow simple directions accurately
  • Availability Monday – Friday, 4:00 PM – 7:30 PM
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
