Role Overview:

As a Cardiac Cath Lab RN, you will play a critical role in invasive and interventional cardiovascular procedures, providing exceptional care before, during, and after procedures to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluating medical history, vital signs, and overall health to ensure patient stability.
• Explaining procedures to patients and families.
• Administering pre-procedure medications (e.g., sedatives, anticoagulants).
• Initiating IV lines for medication and fluid management.
• Ensuring  Cath Lab equipment  preparation and functioning.
• Monitoring and track patient vital signs, heart rate, blood pressure, and ECG readings.
• Administering medications as needed during procedures.
• Post-Procedure Care – Monitor vital signs, manage pain, and ensure proper insertion site care.
• Managing Discharge Planning procedures.
• Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records, procedural notes, and treatment plans.
