Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, an ACR Breast Imaging Center of Excellence is seeking a full-time, part-time, or per diem board certified Breast Radiologist.
Come join our team of 19 board certified/fellowship trained radiologists to work in a collegial environment with the latest state of the art equipment, to serve the people of Queens providing coverage for Jamaica Hospital Medical Center and Flushing Hospital Medical Center.
There are currently 3 staff radiologists providing coverage in an extremely collaborative, friendly and collegial environment. Responsibilities include interpreting diagnostic mammogram and ultrasounds, and reading screening tomosynthesis mammogram exams. Image guided biopsies, Savi or needle localizations, and MRI Breast imaging may be available.

In addition to our other accolades, Jamaica Hospital’s Comprehensive Stroke Center has also received the Healthgrades “Neuroscience Excellence Award” from 2019 to 2022 and the “Stroke Care Excellence Award” from 2017 to 2022. The American Heart Association has also recognized stroke care at Jamaica Hospital with the “Gold Plus” award in 2021 and 2022
Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is a 402 bed fully accredited community teaching hospital that is one of the busiest trauma centers in New York City. Recent collaboration with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and the building of a comprehensive cancer center in Queens, NY ensures the Radiology Department will continue to expand, performing a wide variety of advanced imaging examinations.

Requirements
• Candidates must have a medical degree from an accredited training program and be board certified/eligible in Diagnostic Radiology with Breast imaging fellowship or equivalent experience • 1 to 3 years’ experience in Radiology & Breast Imagining • Physician is expected to obtain and maintain all required licensure and certifications We offer competitive salary and benefits package commensurate to level of experience
