Registrar

Flushing Hospital Medical Center is a 293-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital. The hospital offers a variety of services for a culturally diverse community, including Bariatric Surgical Service, Ambulatory Care Center, Women’s Health Center, Wound Care Center, and Chemical Dependence Unit. Our busy on-site full-service pharmacy provides prescription services to discharged, emergency department, and clinic patients as well as employees. We are currently seeking Registrar for immediate full-time  Evening shift.

Description:

Responsible to ensure that patient insurance information is complete and accurate. Insurance authorization and referrals are completed and verified prior to scheduling appointments for medical center services. Schedule appointments, answer phones.
