Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, a 384-bed, fully accredited community-based teaching hospital and Level I Trauma & Stroke Center, is seeking experienced OR Nurses for immediate full-time opportunities. Your Role as an OR Nurse

  • Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff during surgical procedures
  • Maintain strict sterile technique to protect patients and prevent infection
  • Monitor patient vital signs and overall condition throughout surgery
  • Prepare, organize, and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment efficiently
  • Respond swiftly and effectively to emergencies or unexpected complications in the OR
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Requirements
  • Current NYS RN licensure
  • BCLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • CNOR certification preferred
  • Minimum 1 year current/recent Operating Room or Medical/Surgical nursing experience
