Position Overview:
As an Ambulatory Care Representative, you will be a frontline patient advocate, ensuring each patient’s experience is welcoming, seamless, and supportive.

Key Responsibilities:
· Greet patients and provide a professional, friendly first impression
· Accurately register patients and verify insurance coverage
· Schedule, reschedule, and coordinate follow-up appointments
· Collect copays and explain billing or visit-related information
· Support clinic staff to maintain smooth patient flow
· Uphold HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
· Communicate clearly and compassionately with patients, families, and internal teams
· High school diploma or equivalent
· 1–2 years of patient registration or patient access experience, preferably in outpatient or specialty clinics
· Experience with EHR systems such as EPIC or Meditech preferred
· Fluent in English; bilingual (Spanish, Haitian Creole, or other languages) a plus
· Excellent organizational, communication, and customer service skills
· Ability to multitask and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
