PEER ADVOCATE

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, Queens NY in collaboration with the Mobile Outreach has a full-time position for a Peer Advocate. 

The purpose of the project is to permanently develop the Mobile Outreach Mental Health Clinic into a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) by integrating expanded services into the current Jamaica Hospital Mobile crisis and Off-site activities.   

This is a full-time position for an Peer Advocate who will assist in patient mobile outreach and support and patient access to needed services.  The Peer will work closely with the clinicians to motivate recipients with various issues to seek and remain in treatment and to remain abstinent.
