The Radiology Department currently has Full-time and per diem job opportunities for experienced MRI Technologists.
Job Description:
• Perform a variety of MRI imaging procedures using Siemens equipment for body, neuro,
and musculoskeletal scans, ensuring high image quality
• Properly review and verify patient identity, history, and exam requisition, following
hospital protocol
• Greet and triage patients, ensuring their safety throughout the process
• Explains procedure to be performed to patient prior to scan and answers any questions
throughout scan
• Input patient history into the system and review relevant medical documentation
• Explain procedures to patients and administer contrast media or medications as needed
in accordance with established procedures
• Performs a thorough screening of patients prior to procedure and ensures patient
safety is maintained at all times.
• Maintain a safe and clean working environment, following established protocols
• Assist and train new hires in equipment use and departmental procedures
• Help patients with transfers, dressing, and exam preparation
• Conduct thorough patient screenings and ensure no metal objects accompany them into
the procedure room
• Position patients on the exam table and enter relevant anatomical information
• Recognize and address equipment malfunctions as needed
• Completes other job-related duties as assigned
