Our inpatient Pharmacy Department operates 24 hours per day and provides full pharmacy services for our busy Emergency Room, Intensive Care, adult, and neonatal Medical and Surgical, Hospice, Behavioral Health, Maternal, and Fetal units, and ambulatory care clinics. Our professional Pharmacy team is committed to providing excellent patient care and optimal medication therapy. We are currently seeking experienced Certified Pharmacy Technicians for immediate Full-Time Day shift & Full-Time Temp Evening shift opportunities.
Our ideal candidates will have prior inpatient hospital experience OR significant retail experience consisting of 3 plus years or more.
DUTIES
Performing inventory management (ordering, receiving, stocking).
Regularly delivering medications to inpatient areas.
Triaging phone calls and referring to the pharmacist when applicable.
Maintainingpharmacy files and records.
Assisting with pharmacy inspections.
Adhering to State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures.
Completing annual competency assessments.
High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
Graduate of a recognized Pharmacy Technician Training Program preferred
Must be CPHT certified through PTCB. Experience with Omnicell or other ADS preferred.
Must have prior inpatient hospital experience OR significant retail experience consisting of 3 plus years or more.
