Requirements
Requirements: Candidates must have at least 2-5 years of acute care experience in a hospital setting. Education: Minimum of 2 years education in an accredited Ultrasound Program, required. License/Certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS) certified by the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS). Skills: Advanced computer skills are required. A full working knowledge of the Ultrasound scanners is required. Must be willing to perform a 3-4 hour scanning during the interview process. Jamaica Hospital, a 402 bed fully accredited community teaching hospital with a Level I trauma center and a large network of community based ambulatory care and one the largest voluntary hospital ambulance fleet serving the City 911 system. This hospital provides general medical, pediatric, and psychiatric emergency services, ambulatory care on and off campus, ambulatory surgery and a board spectrum of diagnostic and treatment services.
