TJH Medical Services, PC is a Queens based physician group network.  As one of the largest physician networks in New York City we offer a wide range of specialties and high-quality clinical care in 25 locations throughout Queens.  We are currently seeking an experienced Executive Assistant for an immediate full-time career opportunity in our Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology.

Our ideal candidate will be a well-rounded person with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.  We are looking for an individual who is a self- starter and is comfortable working in an environment that is constantly changing, with the ability to juggle and prioritize multiple tasks. The Executive Assistant must possess a demeanor to positively and effectively interact with physicians, patients and staff.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

Specific duties will include:

  • Overseeing the day-to-day administrative operations of OBGYN department, ensuring that plans and procedures are executed in a smooth and efficient manner.
  • Preparing correspondences.
  • Coordinating and scheduling interdepartmental staff and faculty meetings.
  • Calendar management.
  • Maintaining efficient scheduling and practice flow to facilitate patient experience.
  • Managing and ensuring provider credentialing process.
  • Maintaining call and surgery schedule for doctors.
  • Preparing bi-weekly payroll for office staff.

Requirements
Minimum 3-5 years executive administration office experience. Must have minimum Associate degree.  Bachelor degree preferred. Must be computer literate and adept in MS Word, Excel and PowerPoint Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
