Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA)

Jamaica Anesthesia Associates located in Queens, is part of the General Medical and Surgical Hospitals Industry and is an affiliate of Medisys Health Network. Our team has Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA) openings for full-time, part-time and per diem shifts.

The successful candidate administers anesthesia under the supervision of the Attending Anesthesiologist, administers local, inhalation, intravenous and other anesthetics prescribed during surgery, deliveries or other medical procedures. Additionally, the CRNA institutes resuscitative procedures throughout the hospital, including the recovery room and is available at all times while on duty.

Additional Responsibilities:

• Monitors anesthesia care for scheduled and emergency surgical, and diagnostic procedures
• Performs Complete Pre-Anesthetic Assessment
• Appropriately Prepares for Case Management
• Provides Competent Post Anesthetic Management
