This position is inactive
  • Interviews incoming patients or representatives to verify identity, demographic and financial data and enters that information into the Hospital EMR for Admitting and Ambulatory Surgery.
  • Performs a variety of administrative duties and data input related to Bed Management, Admissions, Financial Screening, Discharges,
  • Transfers and Expirations of patients according to the Hospital policies and procedures.
  • Obtains necessary signatures for all required forms. 

 

Requirements
  • College degree preferred. HS Diploma Required.
  • Has knowledge of hospital EMR (Epic) system and utilizes assigned work queues and reports within Epic to perform duties.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills. •Excellent Customer service skills.
  • Excellent multi tasking skills •Ability to type a minimum of 30 words per minute. •Knowledge of Microsoft Office •Bilingual Spanish preferred.
