Certified Registered Central Sterile Technician

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center located in Queens, NY seeks experienced Certified Registered Central Sterile Technicians for immediate full-time (37.5 hours/ week) employment opportunities in our Central Sterile Supply department. Our ideal candidate will have minimum 1-2 years’ previous hands on experience in medical equipment sterilization and sterile processing. Nearly certified technicians strongly encouraged to apply.

Shift: Evening shift

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:

Sterilizing, cleaning, processing and assembling, surgical instruments and equipment.
Inspecting tools and equipment for damages.
Processing, packaging, and storing, sterilized tools.
Maintaining and distributing sterilized tools and equipment.
