Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking a dedicated Patient Access Training Associate to join our team. This role is perfect for someone passionate about staff development, healthcare access, and operational excellence.

Position Overview
The Patient Access Training Associate develops and delivers training programs to enhance staff performance, ensure compliance with healthcare standards, and improve patient access processes. This role collaborates with leadership to create engaging training, evaluate staff performance, and continuously improve training content.

Key Responsibilities
Training & Development

  • Conduct on-site and virtual training on policies, procedures, and system updates.
  • Maintain expertise in hospital protocols, EMR systems, and healthcare insurance programs.
  • Adapt training methods to suit diverse learning styles.
  • Identify gaps in training materials and recommend updates.

Program Management & Evaluation

  • Maintain and update training curriculum and schedules.
  • Assess training effectiveness and implement improvements.
  • Monitor trainee performance and provide guidance or corrective interventions.

Professional Development & Communication

  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.
  • Communicate effectively with trainees, peers, and supervisors.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare or a related field OR a minimum of five (5) years of relevant experience in healthcare registration and/or insurance-related roles.
  • Extensive knowledge of healthcare insurance programs and public health systems.
  • Proficiency in EMR systems and patient registration processes.
  • Exceptional communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills. Strong attention to detail and the ability to multitask effectively.
