Department: Psychiatry / Advanced Center for Psychotherapy

For more than two decades our highly trained Board-certified and Board-eligible psychiatrist have provided compassionate, solution-focused therapy services for children, adolescents and adults. We are proud of our uncompromising commitment and approach in providing exceptional mental health services to the many clients we serve.  We are currently seeking an experienced Clinical Manager to oversee the day to day management of our outpatient clinic.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for the assessment, development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the continuous quality of care and clinic services
  • In conjunction with Medical Director, monitoring, formulating and implementing Clinical Quality Improvement and UR activities.
  • Liaising with city and state agencies and institutions to coordinate patient care issues and maintain satisfactory working relationships.
  • Providing individual and/or group psychotherapy to a limited number of clinic patients.
  • Maintaining daily administrative support, oversight and supervision of clinical, professional, administrative and clerical staff.
  • Overseeing the admission and discharge of program patients.
  • Handling patient emergencies.
  • Liaising with patients and community health care professionals to coordinate patient care plans.
  • Organizing and providing outreach to professionals in the community.
  • Follow up with referral sources to the clinic.
  • Investigating and following up patient  commplaints and Incidents..
  • Responsible for Patient Satisfaction Surveys and Managed Care Audits.

 

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker, or Licensed Psychologist, with advanced training in psychotherapy.
  • Must have minimum 3-5 years administrative and clinical supervision experience with a variety of psychotherapeutic modalities and interventions.
