This position is inactive

Provides training and orientation for all new and existing staff members pertaining to the use and management of transport equipment, patient safety, and customer service behaviors. Assists in ensuring transport staff are in compliance with all hospital and departmental proficiency training requirements per hospital defined protocols. Coordinates activities of other transport personnel within patient care and ancillary support areas of the hospital, and reports any problems to the manager. Maintains a friendly and professional manner with all patients, family members, hospital staff and co-workers

Requirements
Must be able to read and write standard English language. High school diploma or general education degree (GED). Patient Escort experience is a plus. * Customer service experience required. Basic computer experience required.
