Registered Nurse for Cardiac Cath / Interventional Lab

• Perform technical and patient care components of Cardiac Cath, Electrophysiology, Vascular, Interventional Radiology procedures.
• Deliver nursing care to meet the health, physical, emotional, and educational needs of a patient undergoing invasive interventional and neurovascular procedures and/or invasive peripheral catheterization.
• Interview patients to assess condition and status; and perform physical examinations and continuous monitoring.
• Assist patients and families to understand alternatives to care; and directly facilitate communication of information to all members of the healthcare team.
• Effectively assist physician during all aspects of interventional procedures, scrubbing, recording the procedure, operating all equipment, maintaining sterile environment, and completing all other related functions.
• Confer with treatment team regarding special needs of patient and family upon discharge.
