Endoscopy Technician – Full Time (Day Shift)

Join a fast-paced, patient-focused Endoscopy Unit where your skills directly support high-quality diagnostic and therapeutic care.

Schedule & Pay:

Full-Time | Day Shift
$39.93/hr. Certified
$37.17/hr. Not Certified
At Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, we are seeking a skilled and dependable Endoscopy Technician to support physicians and nursing staff in delivering safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with endoscopic procedures in a hospital-based GI suite
  • Prepare, handle, and maintain endoscopy equipment
  • Maintain sterile technique and infection control standards
  • Support patient safety, comfort, and procedural efficiency
  • Clean, disinfect, and document equipment per protocol
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical teams

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Endoscopy Technician training preferred
  • Certification preferred (not required)
  • Hospital, surgical, or procedural experience a plus
  • Knowledge of sterile technique and infection control
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced clinical environment
  • BLS preferred or willingness to obtain
