What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and provide prescribed medications, IV solutions, and other pharmaceuticals under pharmacist supervision
  • Participate in adverse drug reaction reporting and data collection
  • Consult with medical and nursing staff on therapy, drug interactions, and IV compatibilities
  • Assist in inventory control: ordering, stock rotation, and returns
  • Conduct daily medication utilization reports and analyze opportunities for improvement
  • Perform quality assurance procedures

Requirements
  • Currently enrolled in an accredited 6-year pharmacy program (completion of 3 years required)
  • Valid Pharmacy Intern permit
  • Hospital pharmacy experience preferred; community pharmacy experience also considered
  • Available for weekday evenings (5–10 PM) and alternate weekends (7:30 AM–4 PM or 12:30–9 PM)
