Epic Certified Systems Analyst works with Epic Systems’ electronic health record (EHR) software, focusing on implementation, configuration, and support. They evaluate workflows, collect requirements, and configure the system to meet specific objectives, ensuring optimal functionality for both end-users and the organization. Additionally, they contribute to projects, offer training, and resolve issues.

We are in search of Epic Certified Analysts with the following Epic Certifications:

Clinical: Ambulatory, Inpatient Orders, Clinical Documentation, Stork, Willow, ASAP, OpTime, Anesthesia, Beacon, Beaker, Research, Rehab

Revenue Cycle: Patient Access, Hospital Billing, HIM

 

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

System Configuration and Maintenance:

Configuring Epic systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring optimal system performance.
Business Analysis and Workflow Improvement:

Analyzing current workflows, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing Epic solutions to enhance efficiency.
User Training and Support:

Providing training to users on how to effectively utilize Epic, offering ongoing support, and addressing user inquiries.
Documentation and Reporting:

Creating and maintaining documentation, training materials, and user guides, as well as utilizing Epic’s reporting tools to extract and analyze data.
Collaboration and Communication:

Working closely with clinical, IT, and administrative teams to ensure system requirements are met and to facilitate smooth implementation and ongoing support.
Testing and Quality Assurance:

Conducting system testing, quality assurance, and ensuring system updates and patches are properly implemented.
Process Improvement:

Participating in process improvement projects to enhance efficiency and accuracy, potentially including security-related activities.

Requirements

Epic Certification: Certified in Epic applications.

Experience: At least one year of experience with the build and/or maintenance of Epic modules.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in a related field.

Skills: Strong communication skills, both written and verbal; highly organized; able to multitask and maintain focus on individual tasks.

Technical Expertise: Ability to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve problems; familiarity with healthcare IT applications and operating systems.

Self-Starter: Ability to maintain schedule, meet deadlines, and monitor one’s own work product.
