Registered Nurse -Geriatrics / Long-Term Care
Location: Jamaica Hospital Nursing Home, Queens, NY
Schedule: Full-Time, Part-Time, Per Diem | Day & Evening Shifts

Join our 228-bed skilled nursing and rehabilitation facility and deliver compassionate, hands-on care to a diverse patient population. As an RN, you’ll play a vital role in promoting safety, dignity, and individualized care for residents in long-term and rehabilitative settings.

What You’ll Do

  • Perform patient assessments and monitor conditions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement care plans
  • Administer medications and treatments accurately
  • Document patient care in medical records and nursing databases
  • Educate and support patients, families, and caregivers
  • Serve as Nurse in Charge when designated
  • Participate in MDS assessments and care plan meeting

Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
  • Current NYS RN license
  • BLS certification (AHA)
  • Experience in geriatrics or long-term care preferred
  • Knowledge of SigmaCare a plus
  • Availability for alternate weekends
