Flushing Hospital

Flushing Hospital Medical Center is seeking a Pharmacy Analyst. The Pharmacy Anaylst is responsible for the development, building, implementation, and ongoing maintenance of all aspects of pharmacy related electronic health record  computer applications and clinical information systems. They also coordinate the relationship with the EHR clinical system with related applications including automated dispensing cabinets and the 340B program.

Requirements

Required Education and Experience
  • B. S. Pharm Degree or Pharm D degree with a minimum of 2 years institutional experience or a satisfactory combination of experience and education.
  • Registered as a licensed pharmacist in the State of New York
  • Be a graduate of an accredited college of pharmacy
  • An advanced degree in a position related specialty is desired.
  • Maintains awareness of trends in pharmaceutical and related literature by participating in professional continuing education program
  • Experience in data processing and computer systems .
  • Good verbal and written skills
  • Ability to assist and perform tasks as described in the technical, professional and supportive job descriptions
  • Member of the American Society of Health-System Pharmacists is desired
  • Member of the New York State Council of Health-System Pharmacists is desired.
  • Maintain Certification in current Hospital EHR system as an Informatics Analyst.
