RADIOLOGY MANAGER

The Flushing Hospital Department of Radiology offers a wide variety of advanced, state-of-the-art diagnostic and imaging services. Our medical team consists of highly qualified Board Certified and fellowship-trained professionals. The department is fully accredited by the American College of Radiology (ACR), which signifies a higher quality examination and care.  We are currently seeking a Radiology Manager for an immediate full-time opportunity. 

Under the general direction of the Director of Radiology/Medical Imaging, the Radiology Manager will lead and manage the operational activities for the Radiology department.   Monitoring flow, care, and safety of patients to ensure compliance with department procedures.

DUTIES

• Developing, implementing, and overseeing department procedures to ensure efficient, accurate, and cost-effective delivery of imaging services.
• Scheduling procedures, and exams to maximize the use of staff and facilities.
• Monitoring, evaluating and modifying staffing patterns to ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Managing and implementing appropriate data collection of information needed to monitor clinical, operational, and financial outcomes, as well as department QA/QC standards.
• Acting as a liaison between Radiology and other departments related to medical imaging initiatives and procedures.
• Facilitating in the preparation and planning of department budget.
• Monitoring operational budgets and implementing corrective action plans for negative productivity and operating expense variances.
