MEDICAL SCRIBE

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center currently seeks experienced Medical Scribes for immediate part-time opportunities.  Our ideal candidate will be adept in documenting and charting medical data discussed during provider-patient encounters. Hours may vary, dependent on the physician’s schedule.

DUTIES

As a medical scribe, you will record the details of a patient's exam—clinical history, current complaints, diagnoses, procedures performed by physicians or other healthcare professionals,

• Preparing and assembling medical record documentation/charts for the physician.
• Updating patient history, physical exam, and other pertinent health information in the patient EHR.
• Reviewing medical record documentation to identify and correct errors.
• Organizing and sending documentation to physicians for review
