Security Officer

We are currently seeking experienced licensed Security Officers for full time and part time day. evening and night shift opportunities.

Under the direction of the Security Director, selected Security Officers will perform a variety of security and safety related functions while involved in the safeguard of employees, patients, visitors and property  as outlined in the FHMC policy manual.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Responsible for maintaining  safe environment for hospital patients, staff and visitors
• Actively monitoring and surveilling persons entering hospital facility and controlling access to sensitive areas.
• Assisting management in enforcing safety regulations.
• Maintaining visit front desk sign-in roster.
• Documenting and maintaining  incident log reports
• Utilizing verbal techniques to deescalate crisis situations.
• Conducting building and grounds surveillance activities  to detect and report safety violations.
• Enforcing access control policy.
