Established in 1884, Flushing Hospital Medical Center is considered the first hospital in Queens, New York. The borough of Queens is the most ethnically diverse community in the United States, and our hospital is proud to serve Queens’ culturally rich population in Flushing.

Under the supervision of the area leader the diet aide performs a variety of tasks in the preparation and serving of meals of the highest quality to both patients and residents. Direct responsibilities include basic food production, tray line, tray delivery and pick up and dish room breakdown.

Requirements

High school diploma. Experience in food services. At least 1 year hospital food service experience preferred.
