Quality Systems Manager/Point of Care Coordinator

Responsibilities:

• Arranges and conducts both technical & quality system audits
• Performs risks assessments when due.
• Performs and document corrective action including follow up monitoring to gauge the effectiveness of the corrective action
• Ensures compliance with all regulatory agency standards for inspection readiness.
• Update revises and maintains Laboratory Quality Assurance Manual , SOP’s and other quality documents
• Maintains compliance with all regulatory standards to ensure that services are of the highest quality
• Works closely with Laboratory scientists and fulfills their needs when possible
• Interacts with other departments and participates on Hospital committees as it relates to laboratory functions.
• Complete QAP reports on all complaints
• Is the consultant for all point of care testing
• Review all point of care reports.
• Oversees all aspects of point of care operation and testing.
• Ensures the point of care instrument interface is maintained and operational.
• Performs dictionary maintenance on point of care interface.
• Performs linearity’s correlations and validations as necessary. Prepares the statistical charts for review by the Point of Care testing coordinator and the Director
• Performs other duties as required.
