Quality Systems Manager/Point of Care Coordinator
Responsibilities:
- Arranges and conducts both technical & quality system audits
- Performs risks assessments when due.
- Performs and document corrective action including follow up monitoring to gauge the effectiveness of the corrective action
- Ensures compliance with all regulatory agency standards for inspection readiness.
- Update revises and maintains Laboratory Quality Assurance Manual , SOP’s and other quality documents
- Maintains compliance with all regulatory standards to ensure that services are of the highest quality
- Works closely with Laboratory scientists and fulfills their needs when possible
- Interacts with other departments and participates on Hospital committees as it relates to laboratory functions.
- Complete QAP reports on all complaints
- Is the consultant for all point of care testing
- Review all point of care reports.
- Oversees all aspects of point of care operation and testing.
- Ensures the point of care instrument interface is maintained and operational.
- Performs dictionary maintenance on point of care interface.
- Performs linearity’s correlations and validations as necessary. Prepares the statistical charts for review by the Point of Care testing coordinator and the Director
- Performs other duties as required.
