PHYSICIAN ASSISTANT

Flushing Hospital Medical Center is a 293-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital. The hospital offers a variety of services for a culturally diverse community, including Bariatric Surgical Service, Ambulatory Care Center, Women’s Health Center, Wound Care Center, and Chemical Dependence Unit. Our busy on-site full-service pharmacy provides prescription services to discharged, emergency department, and clinic patients as well as employees. 

The Physician Assistant provides assistance to the Attending Physicians in the Department of Emergency Medicine.  The P.A. may participate in the evaluation and management of patients under the direction, supervision and responsibility of an Attending E.D. Physician.  Perform triage as necessary.
