Requirements
- Completed Undergraduate College Education,
- Previous hospital experience in preferred
- Excellent computer skills, excellent interpersonal and organizational skills,
- PTCB certification required
- NYS Pharmacy Technician license preferred
PHARMACY TECHNICIAN
Full-TimeFlushing Hospital Medical Center is a 293-bed, not-for-profit teaching hospital. The hospital offers a variety of services for a culturally diverse community, including Bariatric Surgical Service, Ambulatory Care Center, Women’s Health Center, Wound Care Center, and Chemical Dependence Unit. Our busy on-site full-service pharmacy provides prescription services to discharged, emergency department, and clinic patients as well as employees.
- Resolve issues, concerns or complaints made by staff
- Keep detailed records of on-hand medications and other stock
- Manage inpatient drug supply
- Restock automated dispensing cabinets
- Fill medications orders
- Conducting delivery rounds
