Pharmacy Coordinator

Flushing has a career opportunity for a Pharmacy Coordinator.

The Pharmacy Coordinator will be responsible for maintaining an adequate inventory of all medications and supplies for the department in the coordination of providing pharmaceutical service. In addition, the pharmacy coordinator will monitor and assure compliance with legal regulations pertaining to the dispensing activities of the department. Coordination of department purchasing activities and hospital 3408 program will also be an integral function of the pharmacy coordinator. Other responsibilities will include coordination of annual inventory, materials management in the EPIC pharmacy system, the Emergency Medication Management system and the Distribution of Controlled Substances; and Drug Distribution via the Omnicell Automated Dispensing Cabinets.
