Pharmacist

Responsible for all dispensing/distribution, profiling and record keeping of medications, dissemination of drug information to other members of the health-care team and to patients to ensure optimum patient care; clinical monitoring of drug therapy, preparation of sterile products and extemporaneous compounds; rotation into all clinical services of the department, including satellite and specialty areas; participation in continuing and in-service education. Responsibilities also include training and guidance of students from the Medical Center’s affiliated Pharmacy School.
