PERFORMANCE IMPROVEMENT COORDINATOR

FULL-TIME M-F 8 AM – 4:30 PM

Jamaica Hospital Medical Center has a career opportunity for a Performance Improvement Coordinator. The Performance Improvement Coordinator works with and under the direction of the Director of Performance Improvement to develop, plan, organize, direct, and lead the JHMC Performance Improvement Program.

 His/her scope of responsibility encompasses all settings of the organization. The PI Coordinator has a detailed understanding and can skillfully use the concepts of performance improvement methodologies, system design, data management, statistical analysis, and reports. The PI Coordinator will work collaboratively with departments to improve performance in alignment with the organization’s strategic plan, mission, and vision.

Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in healthcare Related Field or equivalent experience
  • Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ) preferred.
  • For licensed personnel, a current NYS license is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Windows, Microsoft Excel, and Access.
  • Strong knowledge in the application of Performance Improvement methodologies
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills

SALARY RANGE $100K - $110K
