Performance Improvement Coordinator
Location: Jamaica Hospital Medical Center
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Salary Range: $110,000 – $120,000
Position Summary
Jamaica Hospital Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator to support the implementation and oversight of the hospital-wide Performance Improvement Program. Reporting to the Director of Performance Improvement, the PI Coordinator plays a key role in advancing quality initiatives, ensuring regulatory compliance, and fostering a culture of safety, reliability, and continuous learning.

This individual should be capable of managing complex projects, interpreting data trends, and fostering interdisciplinary collaboration to drive measurable improvements.
Key Responsibilities
- Facilitate and implement quality improvement tools, methodologies, and initiatives across departments.
- Conduct and support Root Cause Analyses (RCA) and Failure Mode and Effects Analyses (FMEA).
- Participate in Quality Improvement Committees, task forces,
- Abstract charts and review incident reports to identify performance gaps and recommend corrective actions.
- Support peer review, risk management, patient safety, and infection prevention efforts as needed.
